The power hungry, those seeking alliances, and the fear of betrayal surround him. Fletcher finds himself caught in the middle of powerful forces, with only his demon Ignatius for help.

As the pieces on the board maneuver for supremacy, Fletcher must decide where his loyalties lie. The fate of an empire is in his hands. The Novice is the first in a trilogy about Fletcher, his demon Ignatius, and the war against the Orcs.

Review:
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was well crafted and creative, that readers like me, cannot stop talking about it to his friends. The book started in a dark and cold world with this lay back and simple life of villagers. The world was introduced by hunting animals and being bullied by unlikable characters. The book started humbly and that is one of the reasons why I love it. The world building was not dragging and the characters were well thought of.

This book took me by storm. It surprised me and went beyond my expectations. I was so happy I picked this book. I was really entertained and blown away by the world and the plot. the magic system was so cool and outstanding that you will catch yourself dreaming that you are of the characters.

Reading this book will not let you compare it to the other worlds you have been from reading books. This book was written to stand out on its own and make a name. For me, it did.
This book will surprise you in a lot of possible ways. There will be fantasy, childish romance and many more. This is a very entertaining book with good world building and great story line.
The ending was a okay but it was more than enough to convince me to read the next book of the series. This book is like Pokemon married to Lord of the Rings.
